What we hope to do
The Howard Calvert Foundation was created to support families in the Houston community. Needs are different for every family, so our focus is on practical help delivered with compassion.
Food and everyday essentials
Help connect families with food and essential items when resources are stretched.
Financial and housing needs
Explore ways to support families facing financial strain or housing challenges.
Back-to-school confidence
Work toward school supply and haircut giveaways that help children start the school year prepared and confident.
Giveaways and grants
Howard hopes to organize community giveaways and develop grant opportunities as the foundation grows. No grant application or giveaway registration is open on this page yet; future details will be announced here.
